Final fifth-generation year, a nine-color roster with three notable deletions: Magnetic Gray Metallic 1G3, Blizzard Pearl 070 and Lunar Rock 6X3 all leave. Wind Chill Pearl 089 takes over as the white pearl and appears on the 4Runner for the first time. Terra 4Z0 is the TRD Pro exclusive and Underground 1L7 is new. Solar Octane 4W5 carries over from 2023 onto more grades.

- Open the driver's door and look at the B-pillar at roughly latch height.
- Find the row labelled C/TR on the printed sticker.
- The three characters before the slash are the paint code.
- The characters after the slash are the interior trim code, not paint.
If the sticker is missing or faded
- Call any Toyota dealer parts desk with your VIN. They can read the code off the build record, usually in under a minute and at no cost.
- Genuine Toyota touch-up part numbers embed the paint code — part 00258-004X0-21 is code 4X0.
