VehicleColor is a reference for factory automotive paint codes — the code stamped on your vehicle's build sticker, the official name the manufacturer gave that color, and which models and years it appeared on.

It exists because the existing options are unreliable. Paint retailers publish year/make/model color lists that are frequently padded with codes the vehicle never came in, and they routinely replace factory color names with names of their own. A 2015 Toyota Tacoma was offered in eight colors; one major retailer's page for it lists twenty-four, including colors that did not exist until 2020.
