Solar Octane 4W5 is the TRD Pro exclusive and an extra-cost color. Code 040 is now marketed as Ice Cap rather than Super White. Army Green 6V7 is dropped; Lime Rush 5C3 and Lunar Rock 6X3 both continue on wider grades. A 40th Anniversary Special Edition is offered but adds no new paint code. PaintRef's 2023 page omits Solar Octane.

Driver's door jamb (B-pillar), on the white or silver build sticker, on the row labelled C/TR.

- Open the driver's door and look at the B-pillar at roughly latch height.
- Find the row labelled C/TR on the printed sticker.
- The three characters before the slash are the paint code.
- The characters after the slash are the interior trim code, not paint.
If the sticker is missing or faded
- Call any Toyota dealer parts desk with your VIN. They can read the code off the build record, usually in under a minute and at no cost.
- Genuine Toyota touch-up part numbers embed the paint code — part 00258-004X0-21 is code 4X0.
