Lunar Rock 6X3 arrives as the TRD Pro exclusive, and Cement 1H5 returns after a three-year absence — this time on the new Trail Special Edition rather than the TRD Pro. Army Green 6V7 continues on the Trail Special Edition and Venture. PaintRef's 2021 4Runner page omits Lunar Rock, but the brochure and Toyota's own TRD Pro announcement both confirm it.

Driver's door jamb (B-pillar), on the white or silver build sticker, on the row labelled C/TR.

- Open the driver's door and look at the B-pillar at roughly latch height.
- Find the row labelled C/TR on the printed sticker.
- The three characters before the slash are the paint code.
- The characters after the slash are the interior trim code, not paint.
If the sticker is missing or faded
- Call any Toyota dealer parts desk with your VIN. They can read the code off the build record, usually in under a minute and at no cost.
- Genuine Toyota touch-up part numbers embed the paint code — part 00258-004X0-21 is code 4X0.
