QAB — Pearl White TriCoat
Tri-coat finish. Also sold as Pearl White Tricoat, White Pearl, White Tricoat. Used on 2 Nissan models across 11 model years in our database.
Swatch is an on-screen approximation, not a measured match.
Naming note. Extra-cost three-stage white. Superseded on the Rogue by Everest White TriCoat (QBE) for 2024, but retained on the Altima through 2024.
Where QAB was used
Pearl White TriCoat (QAB) is a three-stage finish. It needs base, mid-coat and clear to repair invisibly — a single touch-up pen will not match it.

Reading a Nissan paint code
Three characters, letters and/or digits, e.g. QAB, K23, KH3, XEX
Nissan uses a 3-character code in which the leading letter groups the colour family: Q = white, K = black/silver/grey, N = red, R = blue, E = orange/special-effect, G = black pearl, D = green, H = khaki/beige. Two-tone Rogue combinations are NOT written as two codes joined together; the factory assigns a single distinct X-prefixed code (XBJ, XEU, XEV, XEW, XEX, XHQ, XKJ, XKV) that covers the body colour plus the Super Black (KH3) roof, and that X code is what appears on the vehicle colour label. On the label the code is printed under the heading COLOR, sometimes followed by a separate trim code.
