No color changes from 2021. All 9 codes carried over unchanged into 2022. If you are matching paint on a 2021 or 2022 Altima, the roster is identical.

Final year of this palette. The 2022 brochure adds a Midnight Edition marker to the colour legend, but Midnight Edition is a blacked-out trim package rather than a paint colour and introduces no new code. Last year for Sunset Drift ChromaFlair (EBL) and Storm Blue Metallic (RBD) on the Altima.
Where to find your paint code
Colour label on the driver's-side door jamb / B-pillar
Driver's door jamb
- Open the driver's door and look at the B-pillar and door jamb area.
- Find the small silver, white or black Colour ID tag carrying barcodes and dense alphanumeric text.
- Read the 3-character value printed under the heading COLOR (for example QAB, K23, XEX).
- On a two-tone Rogue the label shows the single X-prefixed combination code, not the individual body and roof codes.
If the sticker is missing or faded
- Check low on the door jamb near the striker - on some cars the label sits in the bottom corner and needs a crouch to read.
- Look at the bottom corner of the VIN plate, where the colour code is tucked beneath the word COLOR.
- Call Nissan Consumer Affairs at 1-800-647-7261 with the VIN and ask for the factory paint code.
- Ask any Nissan dealer parts department to run the VIN - the build record lists the exterior colour code.
