Substantial mid-cycle repaint: ten monotone plus five two-tone, fifteen codes. Pearl White TriCoat (QAB) is replaced by Everest White TriCoat (QBE), and the matching two-tone changes from XBJ to XKJ. Baja Storm Metallic (HAL) and Deep Ocean Blue Metallic (RCJ) are new, with new two-tones XKV and XHQ. Dropped for 2024: Pearl White TriCoat (QAB), Caspian Blue Metallic (RBY) and its two-tone XEU, and the Sunset Drift ChromaFlair two-tone (XEV). Scarlet Ember Tintcoat is monotone-only - there is no Scarlet Ember two-tone. Boulder Gray (XEX) and Champagne Silver (XEW) two-tones carry over unchanged.
Where to find your paint code
Colour label on the driver's-side door jamb / B-pillar
Driver's door jamb
- Open the driver's door and look at the B-pillar and door jamb area.
- Find the small silver, white or black Colour ID tag carrying barcodes and dense alphanumeric text.
- Read the 3-character value printed under the heading COLOR (for example QAB, K23, XEX).
- On a two-tone Rogue the label shows the single X-prefixed combination code, not the individual body and roof codes.
If the sticker is missing or faded
- Check low on the door jamb near the striker - on some cars the label sits in the bottom corner and needs a crouch to read.
- Look at the bottom corner of the VIN plate, where the colour code is tucked beneath the word COLOR.
- Call Nissan Consumer Affairs at 1-800-647-7261 with the VIN and ask for the factory paint code.
- Ask any Nissan dealer parts department to run the VIN - the build record lists the exterior colour code.
Other Rogue years
Color availability changed year to year. Codes often carried over; names sometimes did not.
