Factory paint codes

2018 Honda Civic

13 factory colors were offered on the 10th generation Civic. Your code is on the driver's door jamb sticker on the line marked C/TR — the characters before the slash.

13 colors 3 finishes: Metallic, Pearl, Solid 10th generation (2016–2021)

This is the earliest model year currently in our database for the Civic, so there is no prior year to compare against.

Verified against 4 independent sources: Honda Info Center MY2018 Colors pages for Civic Sedan, Coupe and Hatchback (hondainfocenter.com) — union of exactly 13 colors; Genuine Honda touch-up part numbers (08703-<code>AH-A1) confirming codes; Honda Info Center MY2019 Civic Colors pages, which render carryover codes correctly; ImportArchive per-year archive and CarsDirect 2018 Civic colors as corroboration.

Thirteen colors across the whole 2018 Civic line, but no single body style offered all of them — Sedan 9, Coupe 8, Hatchback 7, plus Championship White on the Type R. Retailer pages that list all thirteen against one body style are overstating what you could actually order.

Where to find your paint code

Driver's door jamb, on the label on the B-pillar, on the line reading COLOR or PAINT.

Driver's door jamb

  1. Open the driver's door and look at the B-pillar behind the door latch.
  2. Find the line on the sticker labelled COLOR.
  3. The code appears there in the form NH-731P or similar.
  4. The TRIM line beside it is the interior code, not paint.

If the sticker is missing or faded

  • Genuine Honda touch-up paint part numbers embed the code — part 08703-NH797M-ES is code NH-797M.
  • Any Honda dealer parts desk can look the code up from your VIN.

Other Civic years

Color availability changed year to year. Codes often carried over; names sometimes did not.
