Factory paint codes

2021 Honda CR-V

8 factory colors were offered on the 5th generation CR-V. Your code is on the driver's door jamb sticker on the line marked C/TR — the characters before the slash.

8 colors 2 finishes: Metallic, Pearl 5th generation (2017–2022)

No color changes from 2020. All 8 codes carried over unchanged into 2021. If you are matching paint on a 2020 or 2021 CR-V, the roster is identical.

This roster currently rests on a single source and has not been cross-checked. We show that rather than hide it. Report a correction.

Same eight codes as 2020, but split differently between the two powertrains: the gasoline CR-V page lists seven and omits Obsidian Blue Pearl, while the CR-V Hybrid page lists seven and omits Aegean Blue Metallic. Neither model alone offered all eight. Honda published no 2021 CR-V press kit, so this roster rests on Honda Info Center alone.

Where to find your paint code

Driver's door jamb, on the label on the B-pillar, on the line reading COLOR or PAINT.

Driver's door jamb

  1. Open the driver's door and look at the B-pillar behind the door latch.
  2. Find the line on the sticker labelled COLOR.
  3. The code appears there in the form NH-731P or similar.
  4. The TRIM line beside it is the interior code, not paint.

If the sticker is missing or faded

  • Genuine Honda touch-up paint part numbers embed the code — part 08703-NH797M-ES is code NH-797M.
  • Any Honda dealer parts desk can look the code up from your VIN.

Other CR-V years

Color availability changed year to year. Codes often carried over; names sometimes did not.
